Dubois County Block & Brick manufactures 2 sizes of retaining wall blocks under license from ROCKWOOD Retaining Wall, Inc.. The COTTAGE STONE is an easy to handle block ( 4" H x 12" W ) weighing approximately 26 lbs. that is ideal for those low retaining walls, tree rings, or terraced gardens in the yard. The 6" CLASSIC is a larger block ( 6" H x 18" W ) for those larger retaining wall projects.

With the ROCKWOOD Classic 6", one unit can build your entire retaining wall. Except for the top row of finishing caps, the Classic 6" may be modified to create inside and outside corners, steps and variable setbacks in straight, curved, and terraced walls.

With proper engineering the Classic 6" can be used to construct a retaining wall up to 50’ high.
